Job Description: Job Responsibilities: 1. Design, analyze, and synthesize control systems from schematics and layout drawings. 2. Perform prediction and correlation studies with analytical models and hardware. 3. Share project parameters and progress; collaborate with design and systems engineers. 4. Deliver findings and recommendations via oral and written reports and presentations. Job Qualifications: 1. Relevant motion control systems design or analysis experience. 2. Thorough understanding of controls systems theory, feedback, and associated mathematics. 3. Experience building mechanical and/or electrical system performance prediction models. 4. Commercial or military flight control systems experience required. 5. Strong written and interpersonal skills with ability to present material to customers. Other Duties & Responsibilities: 1.Bachelor degree (BS) (or Professional Engineer (PE) certificate) in an engineering or science technical discipline. Professional entry level position. May have limited prior industry experience or have worked with direction in student internship programs. 2. Fundamental knowledge of engineering domain principles, concepts, and techniques. 3. General knowledge of industry products, customers, and related legal/regulatory requirements. 4. Fundamental knowledge of and use of basic engineering design and analysis tools (e.g. computer-aided design programs). Learns and utilizes specialized engineering databases; may require programming skills. 5. Develops familiarity with products and customer specifications and standards applicable to assigned product line or system. 6. Ability to communicate status of technical tasks and actions taken with clarity and precision. 7. Ability to work with general direction and instruction regarding the scope of assignments; determines the priority and order of assignments; and applies judgment in selecting procedures and techniques. 8. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals and reports. Ability to present findings and information in both formal meetings and informally within and across Parker teams. TAKE ACTION!
