Salary: Up to $73K Annually Job Title: Java Test Engineer Location: Fort Collins, CO A large, stable Fort Collins Company is in need of a Business Analyst for a Contract position for 6 months. Design, Develop automation Scripts using Java and automation tools using mercury tools QuickTestPro for Web, Java and Flex based applications Responsible for taking a primary role in framework preparation, understand NW message flows for automation Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop, code, and unit test automation tools using Java JUNIT and or VBScript to test application based on functional specifications - Create automation programming modules in Java using JUnit for REST webservices and/or Middle Tier java program modules. - Create automation framework for subsystems/applications and participates in system/automation design projects - Translate functional specifications into system/automation automation scripts using developed tools - Capable of creating scripts for Data Base and NW message validations using automation tools - Capable of developing scripts using QuickTestPro for User Interface for Flex, Java, and Web applications - Reviewing Test Plans prepared by QA - Familiar with writing automation scripts for connections to dB using the tools - Be aware of potential issues in product/application lifecycle outside development and take initiative in raising and solving them Required Skills: Expertise with Java and VBScript programming languages Experience in developing tools for XML Message validation within SOAP/REST or XML over https Expertise with Automation tools e.g Mercury/Rational in particular QuickTestPro Expertise with VBScript and library creation using test tool Demonstrable expertise with Internet and web technologies Development and/or testing experience on multiple platforms including web, client server, UNIX and mainframe Exposure to performance / load testing experience with various off the shelf and custom built automation tools Knowledge of Oracle and SQL for data validation with tools Ability to convert requirements into a automation scripts within framework of application Experience working with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems Skilled in the application of related System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies Highly motivated, self-starter willing to learn and actively participate in a dynamic, team environment Demonstrable track record for delivering quality systems on a timely schedule Knowledge of distributed systems preferable Preferred Education and experience): Three or more years demonstrated experience as a key contributor in tools, software/automation development projects Experience working in e-commerce order cart and ordering environments a plus BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering preferred To be considered for this opening, please send your resume along in a WORd doc, along with reasons why youd be best suited for this job.
