Title: Component Test Engineer Work Location: Hillsboro, OR Compensation: Hourly pay rate, plus health and company sponsored benefits Term: Full-time Anticipated Start: July, 2012 Desired Background: - Working with the PCCG to test and validate pre-production, in house produced and assembled laptop components - Understands the functional specifications of various devices, as well as the intended use of the device. - Coordination of testing new products, components and designs. - The successful candidate must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, multiplex time between tasks, be able to operate independently as well as being an excellent team player Qualifications: You should possess a minimum of either a Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 4-5 years of experience or relevant course work in the following areas: - Electrical engineering course of study and 2 - 3 years of practical application. - Experience using an oscilloscope to measure output, variance and fault of electrical components. - Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, power tools and test/inspection equipment. - Enthusiastic and flexible with a very inquisitive attitude - Familiarity with validation processes and methodologies like characterization and isolation. - Ability to communicate complex technical concepts verbally, graphically, and in written form to a wide audience - Knowledge of laptop components and architecture. - Microsoft Windows OS knowledge CDI is an Equal Opportunity Employerdf-mn
