Job Description: Minimum Requirements: (Provide specific, measurable, objective requirements; Provide preferred degree; Provide growth path/appealing aspects of job; Provide Full time or Part Time; etc.) Candidates with a minimum 2 years plant operation experience particularly in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing and experience with MES software applications implementation and process automation solutions are preferred. Candidates need to excel in a fast paced and dynamic project execution environment. This position is located in Philadelphia PA or Austin TX and relocation assistance is available. A minimum of 50% (mostly domestic) travel is expected. Job Duties: Architect and lead the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and system integration solutions projects based on industry accepted GMP procedures. Define functional requirements for MES solutions through client interviews and documentation analysis Develop detailed designs, implement and test Syncade solutions that meet client requirements Develop documentation required for validated facilities Provide project execution leadership and mentor fellow project members Quickly learn new skills and technologies Work effectively at different levels within project teams, client organizations and sales Minimum Requirements: Deployment experience with plant floor/Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) e.g., DMI Syncade, Rockwell PMX/Production Center/PharmaSuite, Werum, POMSnet. ERP experience a plus. Software development experience using C# or VB.Net preferred; scripting languages, Web services, ASP/ASP.Net and XML a plus. Knowledgeable in FDA validation requirements, including: User Requirement and Design Specs, Business Process Procedures, Design Reviews, Requirements gathering, Risk Assessments, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, Traceability, Configuration Management, Change Control, Deviation Reporting, Test Strategy/Plans/Scripts, Validation Master Plans and Summary Reports. Experience with regulatory/compliance documentation and procedures is a plus Experience with the compliance of the systems and batch record and data integrity Experience with relational databases using: SQL, PL/SQL, OLE DB, ODBC Support the design and development of all components of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Ability to communicate effectively with employees at different levels of the organization Ability to learn the manufacturing process and to develop workflows Education and Experience: B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science and 10+ years experience OR M.S. in Engineering or Computer Science and 10+ years experience OR B.S. degree and 10+ years experience TAKE ACTION!
