Our Client is a growing award-winning, internationally recognized landscape architecture firm. Work in progress includes botanical gardens, educational institutions, mixed-use communities, private residential gardens and boutique hotels. The firm has work in the United States, the West Indies, the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico.Position Summary:The right candidate should have experience in leading teams of 3 to 5 people, all aspects of the design process with an emphasis on detailed design/execution and the ability to managing the quality control/review process. The ability to travel, experience in the construction administration process, and an in-depth knowledge of project management is a must. Position Responsibilities:?Lead project teams, provide project management and supervise production staff.?Work directly with the principal to create and advance projects. ?Prepare and manage drawing sets and presentation packages.?Conduct research and prepare site reviews and analysis.?Carry out technical and administrative assignments?tabulations, cost estimates, etc.?Prepare and manage team production of construction details and specifications.?Lead and participate in project meetings and on-site construction observation and provide appropriate follow documentation.?Translate and progress initial design concepts through all phases of design.?Mentor and lead design staff ?Represent the firm in high profile public and private meetings.?Collaborate with management to develop and manage project indicators including schedule, deliverables and fee. Position Qualifications:?BLA or MLA ?Minimum of 15 years experience in a progressive landscape architecture firm.?Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication and presentation skills.?Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills. ?Demonstrated excellence in computer-aided drawing programs, AutoCAD a plus.?Demonstrated excellence in Conceptual Design through Construction Documents, including hand sketches.?Demonstrated knowledge in presentation graphics programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and in 3-D modeling programs (Sketch UP, Rhino or CAD) a plus.?Expertise in reading, analyzing and interpreting, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.?Expertise in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from the principal, management, clients and consultants. ?Expertise in applying and executing complex design relationships in oral, written and graphic format.?Willing to travel?Registration a must and LEED-AP preferred.?Knowledge of Deltek Management and Planning Software a Plus We are an equal employment opportunity employer.df-mn
